Migration
Move without the disruption
Migrating to Microsoft 365 is straightforward when it is planned properly. We handle the technical complexity so your team experiences a clean cutover rather than a chaotic one. Every migration covers three core workloads.
- Mailbox migration.
- We migrate mailboxes, calendars, contacts, and shared inboxes from your current provider to Exchange Online. Migrations are staged to keep disruption minimal, with DNS cutover timed for low-traffic periods. Users keep access to their email throughout the process and land in a fully configured environment on day one.
- Teams deployment.
- A bare Teams deployment rarely delivers the productivity gains businesses expect. We structure your team and channel hierarchy to match how people actually work, configure external access and guest permissions appropriately, and integrate Teams with your existing telephony if needed. Training and adoption support is included so the platform gets used.
- SharePoint and OneDrive.
- We design the SharePoint information architecture before migrating file shares, replacing complex folder structures with permission-controlled site collections and document libraries. OneDrive is configured for personal storage with appropriate sync settings and retention policies. The result is a document environment that is easier to navigate and auditable from day one.
Security hardening
Secure by default, not by accident
Microsoft 365 ships with security features that are either disabled or under-configured out of the box. A correctly hardened environment looks and works the same for end users but is significantly harder to compromise. We apply three layers of control as standard on every deployment.
- Multi-factor authentication.
- MFA is the single most effective control against account compromise. We enforce it across all users via Conditional Access policies, selecting authentication methods appropriate for your team including the Microsoft Authenticator app and hardware tokens for high-privilege accounts. Legacy authentication protocols that bypass MFA are blocked by default.
- Microsoft Defender.
- Microsoft 365 includes Defender for Office 365, which provides anti-phishing, safe links, and safe attachments protection across email and Teams. We configure and tune these policies beyond the defaults, enabling attack simulation training so your team can recognise threats before real ones arrive. Defender alerts are monitored as part of your managed service.
- Conditional access and zero trust.
- We use Conditional Access to enforce device compliance and location-based policies, ensuring only trusted devices on expected networks can access sensitive data. Privileged Identity Management limits standing admin access, requiring just-in-time elevation for administrative tasks. Combined, these controls significantly reduce the blast radius of any compromised account.
